Don't Wait for Thanksgiving to Give Thanks

I'm especially thankful for my breadmaker – which allows me to fulfill our Thanksgiving food-sharing obligations with ease

Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? It seems like only yesterday I was searching the grocery stores aisles for trick-or-treat candy whose leftovers wouldn’t tempt me (which of course it did anyway).

Thankful for the blessings from my Indian and American heritage! My tastebuds proclaim the glory of God and His skilled cooks!

I have had a unique experience of Thanksgiving as my family are immigrants and we didn’t have any American traditions passed down to us. In fact, I remember many a Thanksgiving from my childhood that featured fantastic Indian food and maybe pumpkin pie on the side! I am now doubly blessed, having married into a several-generation American family, which allows me to have both the American and Indian sides of the feast!
